alas its a silly unpopular opinion i just realized because my tastes changed lately apparently but
smoked salmon isnt that good anymore :( and it broke my heart when i realized it i got a plate as appetizer just two days ago and i realized that after one slice i was like hmmmm thats enough
i ADORE salmon is my favorite fish i can eat it in literally every way but smoked kind of. isnt the same thing anymore :(

just realized the whole reason I'm not a whole with alter system is because i roleplayed like crazy as a childhood.
I was able to express myself with characters, and have them be validated by other characters, have relationships with the owners, and then the actual base "human" of those characters too. It gave me the ability to write stories with other whole humans. It allowed me to express myself aggressively and get validated. It prevented me from splitting apart by creating this boarder between the character that I made (symbolizing apart of me) and myself.
The validation and storytelling allowed me to process through my trauma AKA having friends that you have deep convos with from a young age IS what gets you through your trauma.
If an adult hurt you, the only therapist you can have is another child that was also hurt that way comforting you or being kind towards you even when you tell them about your experience. Like thats it. And I had that thanks to drum roll pls... lps youtube/kik culture!
other stuff got validated through the storytelling communities i was apart of like creepy pasta, ereri, etc.
it allowed me to express my aggressive thoughts, and separate them from my mind at a young age.
but also develop real friendships along the way with others that felt that way. i wasnt alone. I was surrounded by others like me or at least willing to listen. That's what communitry is. And because i had a community of like minded/kind friends and people, whom I was very close to, to support me, i didnt split.
Thats what saved me from my trauma. Getting through it with others at such a young age.
