fuck it i should start writing oneshots about blorbo-related dreams i have. and by that i mean mainly these two ones that are like ok yeah i would probably write that. one of them was super vague tho but whatever.

that post about my rats cleric, Nagetier, is going around again and people are blorbo tagging it, which i encourage and take great joy in seeing, but i think people are missing the point of the post/character a lil bit bc the blorbos are just people who Like rats and have many of them or who have rat vibes. Nagetier is not a person who has a lot of rats, they Are rats. many many rats all kinda fused together to form the god they worship.

and that's the joke about them. They walk and talk like a caricature of a southern baptist preacher mixed with a dnd murder hobo warlock but they're neither of those things. They're a big pile of rats Pretending to be a cleric and doing a very bad job at it because they're just normal rats.

Simply put, each year all the countries of Europe come together and each offers up a tacky pop song, sometimes in broken English, sometimes in the indigenous language, previously chosen by their respective publics via the Song for Europe competitions. Think American Idol, X factor, et al., and you have only half grasped the joy and the horror. Then one night in May, the final takes place in the previous year’s winning country, and basically all of Europe comes to a standstill. I say Europe, but for some reason I have never been able to fathom (and it’s Eurovision, so logic is not part of the equation), Israel enters and has actually won several times.

I have often thought that if Americans were more exposed to this wonder there would not only be a huge surge in their understanding of British wit and irony, but they would perhaps be able to appreciate without shame the value of a good old-fashioned tacky pop song. I feel my American friends are so very worried about seeming gauche or vulgar when it comes to pop music. It’s only when certain styles of music are placed within the ironic context of retro that Americans can fully enjoy them. We Europeans have never had that problem. Sometimes the lowest common denominator is a positive thing, and people can bond over their love of pop trash."

I didn't know that the rat and the wolf were related, but their connection makes it harder to picture them as having a romantic relationship. The rat is a wild animal who has to survive alone in the world, and the wolf is an animal who is mostly solitary. Even if they somehow get along, what are they really doing together? A few hours of companionship?

rat doodles... its been a while since ive drawn digitally for a full thing . ive been havin some issues with my hands/wrists as of late (ihave been to the doctor and i am resting a bunch) so i havent been able to doodle near as much as i want to . ive mostly been doing physical since that just is a teeny bit easier atm but . eh. im trying my best to restrain myself from doin too much tho
