Thoughts on the dad war, vanco(as in their canon portrayal or the ship if you even have any opinion), benzo (I’m talking about the old man trio dynamic and whether you think benzo/ekko was comparable to silco/jinx and vander/vi, he just seemed like his intern to me but ekko's clearly the benzo 'prodigy', forming a new trio with vi and jinx), just in general the dad backstory TM, whether you wanna see it or not and whether you’d be available for setting riot games offices on fire with me if they don’t show it, s2 predictions, if you could canonize one ship or dynamic (like viktor and jinx friendship) what would it be? (obvs you don’t have to answer all of it sorry)
Oooo okay here I go:
Dad war: Honestly such a clusterfuck. It's hilarious to me.
Vander first attacks Silco by attempted murder. Silco takes years to gain his troops. Silco comes back in a "Thought you've seen that last of me bitch." style and fucking wrecks Benzo, kidnaps Vander and traumatizes two kids. However, he doesn't even kill Vander right away and gives him a choice to join his side again and Vander refuses (lmao sucks to be you Silco). The night ends in blowing up in their faces (no no don't kill me for this joke) and Vander fucking dies. Silco takes in one of Vander's girls and spends years telling her what a shitbag Vander was (while also letting a statue of Vander stay up lol I wonder what goes on in Silco's mind sometimes.)
Then years later, Silco gets the "oh fuck I understand him now" moment at the statue, getting drunk and depressed like the little bitch he is and fucking goes out the same way he does. So in the dad war I think Vander won in the end (also he comes back to life which I doubt Silco will ahhahaha).
Vanco: I'm personally a bit torn on this ship. Like on one hand I like to refer to them being brother-in-arms with no romantic relationship (also parallels on Vander/Silco and Vi/Jinx are the shit I eat everyday). On the other I also read fanfics on this ship and I'm down for the scenerio of them co-parenting the kids. I do hope that the show won't make it seem like they did have a romantic relationship but I also enjoy the fan content on the ship. Either way you swing it, the way their relationship ended up makes me so fucking depressed like wtf??? The angst is real. The pain is on a whole nother level. I can't get over it.
Old man trio and their kids: I do think there are similarities with Benzo/Ekko just like Vander/Vi Silco/Jinx. Benzo and Ekko obviously have their major issues with Silco and Jinx. Ekko, like Benzo, chooses the older sibling of the trio.
Lmao I really need to know what made Benzo hate Silco so much cause like Ekko does have his reasons but even he hesitated to kill Jinx off (which I know Benzo wouldn't do for Silco). Personally, I wonder how Ekko would take to Vi becoming an enforcer in Arcane (in League he does call Vi a sellout lmao)
Dad backstory: I NEED THIS BACKSTORY. I NEED TO KNOW HOW VANDER/SILCO/BENZO RELATIONSHIP WAS. I NEED TO KNOW HOW CLOSE VANDER AND SILCO WAS THAT SILCO FELT THE NEED TO KEEP A STATUE OF HIM. I NEED TO KNOW WHY THE BETRAYAL HAPPENED. I WILL JOIN YOU TO BURN RIOT DOWN IF WE DON'T GET ANY BACKSTORY.
What dynamic would I like to canonize: I would absoluetely love a Jinx and Viktor friendship of them fucking shit up like the maniacs they're gonna be in S2. I also would love to see a Jayce and Vi friendship and them bonding over their similarites (though that is probably much less likely considering their last interaction and if things go really bad in S2).
S2 predictions: Honestly I hope that we do get some insight as to what happened during the timeskip. Like maybe Vi could have a nightmare about her time in prison, Jinx remembers her time with Silco as she grieves for him, etc.
I want the only tweet from the Our Flag Means Death account on June 1st to just be like "Happy Pride" or something simple like that with a link to the S2 announcement. Just that. That's all I need to have the best Pride ever.
