On that note I dunno if I’ve talked about them here but a while ago I created basically some D&D characters for both Sebastian (Stardew Valley) and my farmer/sona, and they’re in love and pretty cute <3 I’ve recently finally drawn Seb’s character and I’m really happy with it actually he looks so cool-

But anyway the point is I’ve really gotten in the habit of creating OCs inspired by my self ships apparently xD

Like, Jack Crawford is practically rabid, just fully Captain Ahab over this Chesapeake Ripper investigation while remaining willfully oblivious to the fact that his man on the inside is shady as fuck and obviously infatuated with the target.

Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter’s entire murder courtship is exactly as transparent and cringe-worthy and embarrassing from the outside as you would expect: they have absolutely zero chill about any of this, ever—they’re melodramatic, pretentious, insufferable, and so breathlessly horny for each other that bystanders are visibly uncomfortable.

Literally every single BAU crime scene technician is offering Tattlecrime exclusive interviews about what it’s like working in this creepy miasma of unresolved sexual tension and Freddie Lounds is right about everything.

And poor Alana Bloom is just watching her two love interests salivate and eye-fuck over corpses with the same determined cheer as the “this is fine” dog from the meme where everything is on fire.

Meanwhile Price and Zeller just two regular dudes who are desperately trying to avoid getting sucked into all of this drama and avoid the professional fallout when this harebrained scheme inevitably goes to shit—all while leading unexpectedly rich and interesting lives with, like, regular professional boundaries and a solid work/life balance. Price has a heartwarming reunion with his estranged twin brother and Zeller is raising his sister’s orphaned teenage daughter. They’re both thinking about leaving the BAU and going back to medical school. Neither of them is very impressed with Will and Hannibal’s murder art—Price thinks it’s “tacky,” while Zeller says it’s “too on the nose.”

thinking about how Hermann’s journey includes him having to take Newton seriously instead of treating him  and his ideas with contempt. going from mocking Newt’s ideas to being willing to drift with him. Del Toro talks about how the drift is about trust, and Hermann trusts Newt - and Newt makes the choice to trust him back.

and idk how much the alliance forged in the heat of battle would really translate into the world beyond that, (and given that we’re never getting Del Toro’s second pacrim ;-;, I’ll never find out) but my gosh. i wish i knew what the canon, delo toro/beacham ideas are. i so badly want a hermann telling his wife ‘so you know that biologist i hate? we drifted and now i can’t get his punk rock lyrics out of my head’ scene where is it.
