I’ve only watched the first three eps but thus far I have to say I ship Robin and Nancy.

FYI Billy was not trying to kill anyone with his car in season 2. Clearly some of you have never seen anyone play chicken in 80’s movies. If Billy wanted to run those kids over you think they could have out run his Camaro on their little bikes? I think not. He was fucking with them and Max. And I’m not saying he should have done it but some of you warp any scene to fit whatever narrative you want.

I think Vecna looks great but I’m not feeling a lot of the cgi this season it looks too much like a lot of sub par horror movies I’ve seen. Especially those weird death contortionist scenes. It reminded me of that ridiculous movie Malignant. To me it just ended up looking more campy than horror. I just kind of wish the Duffers would have done more practical effects instead of cgi they generally always look better and age better.

So Eddie is immediately given the benefit of the doubt when he’s the last person seen alone with a girl who ends up dead. Even to the point that a bunch of the them go looking for him to try and help him. Meanwhile last season they all knew Billy was possessed by the Mindflayer and no one tried to find him and help him.

Sorry but I’ll never be done being bitter over how Billy’s been treated on this show. I’m still in the beginning of my watch of season 4 and holding out hope we’ll see Billy again but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt everytime I see Eddie and how much effort the show has clearly put in for us to like him. Seeing him have scenes with the Party and be friends with all of them is just like a gut punch reminder that the show didn’t allow for that with Billy. Which is why no matter how the story plays out I can’t help but look at Eddie as Billy’s replacement. The Duffers should have made him more of his own character and less like a Billy knock off.

Idk, I used to be sure that he was dyeing because his hair looked a darker brown when he was younger. But nowadays you can spot grey streaks, so I guess not. I think he stopped recently.
