so sunmis doing a cb fully aware that her nf* ppl will profit from it and u guys still dont think shes manipulating and exploiting her fanbase for a project this shitty. i've liked her since a long time but this is just fucking awful to watch. she's profiting off of young people endorsing and still won't listen to people when they tell her to leave the damn thing because she's making bank. didn't think I could lose as much respect for an artist as I did w bts but here we are it's worse

1. it's not a comeback, it's an OST for the NFT/metaverse club that bears Sunmi's name but apparently has at core fuck-all to do with her or her career.

2. she's not manipulating or exploiting anyone into doing anything. she has literally told people in no uncertain terms that she understands if they don't want to support it and there's no obligation to stick around. stop throwing words around hoping one'll stick.

3. the idea that there's only two ways to look at this (if Sunmi leaves the project at this stage she cares about her fans vs. if she sticks with it she doesn't) is a false dichotomy. Sunmi is under contract. You can imagine the rest for yourself.

4. I'm not interested in what it is bts has or hasn't done to disappoint you this much, it is true it's godawful that Sunmi's artistry is now in this way connected to damn NFTs and you should absolutely feel free to drop her altogether but as it is you don't need to come shaking the typical virtue signaller's accusatory finger at me or other people here since no one I know is actually supporting this project and I'm also not her lawyer. Feel free to unfollow/block me though.
