So one of the cousins told me apparently 'accountant' is a tiktok code word for stripping or things of that nature (yes it was boy, the youngest, and no I did not ask him how he knows or why he wanted to tell me. He's sixteen and as weird as every sixteen year old is, I don't ask him shit I just let him be lmao.)

so i’ve been writing poetry for this girl that i like and i gave her some and she wrote back in poetry and now we’re like. writing poetry back and forth for each other.

Hung out with my sister & brother-in-law today. I asked about house hunting because I'd like a house (I'm tired of apartment living and I'm the only person in my immediate family without a house at this point). My sister spent a lot of time talking about how expensive it is and how many issues come up when one owns a house.

"But that doesn't mean I don't think you should get one. You do you."

I wouldn't have thought she was insinuating I shouldn't get one until she tacked that last bit on there. 😑

That on top of my mom constantly suggesting I look at condos or trailers...it kinda just feels like no one in my family thinks I should have a house. They all have houses; not sure why I shouldn't.

Yeah, I'm also the only single one in the family, but I'm not sure why that means I shouldn't have nice things.

Just another on a long list of things that drains my hope for the future, honestly.

That wasnt so bad all things considered. Im heading out now. I spent most of the day working on the aquarium but I also got to teach them how to play Hive, which was fun.

Sometimes when I leave I get intense feelings of sorrow. I can tell that theres a little bit of that deep down, but its not really affecting me as much as it does sometimes.
