I, noted TKRB freak and obsessive observer of stupid details, noticed something interesting about the character designs. Some of those who have hair falling over their eyes are drawn with the eye partly visible, while others aren't. Sorry in advance that the screencaps suck, I’m too lazy to go make my own right now.

In contrast, Nikkari’s right eye is almost always covered, similar to Shokudaikiri’s.
Since we already know that Shokudaikiri's right eye is damaged (or perhaps missing), it would stand to reason that there's something weird going on with Nikkari's eye. It can't just be that it's mismatched: Souza also has mismatched eyes but even when his hair falls over his face, both eyes are at least partially visible.
This makes me wonder: does Nikkari cover his eye intentionally because it can’t see, or maybe because it sees too much, like GHOSTS?
Since Nikkari is known to have cut down ghosts, it would make sense that he could also see them; if he can see ghosts, he can likely see other spiritual things as well. This would also explain why he's so frustrated at not being a spiritual sword because he can literally see spirits lmao.
