But I’m sure the fandom is well aware of the Collector Luz theory, and how the fandom became torn with either wanting it to happen or not wanting it to happen

and others have made different theories about how it may not even be Luz who gets possessed by the Collector and speculates that it may be Hunter, or Amity, or even Belos

HOWEVER,

I truly think it actually will be Luz who gets either possessed or makes a deal with the collector and here’s why. It’s literally the tiniest detail, but I’ve been noticing it in almost every artwork Dana has posted on Twitter.

So, we know that this what the Collector looks like and Dana herself drew that during a stream, and here’s the tiny detail that makes me believe that Luz is going to be possessed/ makes a deal w/ the Collector

And you’re probably wondering how that would indicate Luz being possessed, and I’m glad you asked~!

So, I have gathered more like collected hahaaa ill see myself out all the artwork that Dana posted on Twitter that had the same hair poking out, and while I was collecting (heh), Amity, nor Hunter had the same hair poking out, only Luz had it...

Oh shit, I just had a thought that I'm kinda hesitant about voicing in case I'm wrong but here goes:

So the Day of Unity. Eda is taking Raine's place, meaning that she'll be right up there with the other coven heads, Belos, and likely the Collector.

As we saw in the owl beast's memory, the Collector hunted it down, caught it in a net, and then trapped it in a cursed scroll when it tried to escape.

We know that Eda's curse flares up when she's stressed, and this is certainly a stressful situation. We haven't really seen her get feathery like this since Keeping Up A-fear-ances, which was the last time she turned into the owl beast. I don't think that'll happen this time, but I do think that the beast's fear and animal instinct will make its presence known.

I think that the Collector will recognize the beast and rip the curse out of Eda. But their souls were intertwined for so long that being separated will feel like getting ripped in half. Eda will have some use of her magic, but she needs to get the owl beast back in order to feel like herself again. The owl beast, on the other hand, has been trapped in the scroll and in Eda for so long that it scarcely knows how to be its own being. It's barely even a living thing anymore and it'll die without Eda.

My theory for the next episode is that King will release the Collector with the belief that this will stop the draining spell and the day of unity.

He has a psychic connection to the Collector. He can hear them talking to themself and the Collector can hear him to some degree. King likely feels left out and helpless as his family leaves him behind to protect him. The Collector is having doubts about helping Belos and wants to "play a new game." Knowing that everyone in his family is running towards their almost certain deaths, he makes a deal with the Collector: he frees them from their prison and the Collector defeats Belos. As a Titan, King is likely one of the only beings with the power to do this. I doubt even Belos has this kind of power, and even if he did, I seriously doubt he would keep his promise.

But this plan will backfire terribly because we know that the Collector was locked up for a reason. I believe that they'll defeat Belos and then continue to wreck havoc, leading into season 3.

I think that the fandom has been so focused on Collector!Luz theories that we completely let Collector!King pass us by

Which is potentially more terrifying because he’s got innate magic powers and maybe the ability to pass between realms

Thinking about what Kiki said about how Belos' eyes are "all pointed at the owl lady". Yes, he may have eyes everywhere but currently they're all paying attention to Eda.

Belos probably also knows about the little multi track rebellion happening at hexside since the scouts would've reported back about it but I think he really isn't paying attention to that.

We don't really have any information about what the Hexside students & teachers are doing and I think that was intentional.

All of Belos' attention is on Eda, which means he has completely disregarded a separate part of the rebellion.

Kikimora only taunts Luz with knowing their plan, not any of the other kids so I think it's a safe bet that Hexside has kind of been pushed to the backburner, a group of ex-coven heads and the owl lady seeming more urgent to deal with than a group of children and sigiled teachers.

But even Darius pointed out at the start of the episode that the spell only targets those with sigils, something we know none of the Hexside students have.

In conclusion, I think that after the CATTs plan has been revealed to be a failure and everything is looking down, Hexside's gonna appear like "SUPRISE BITCH"

This is probably already a theory but DISCUSS please

Because I've successfully predicted the Hooty body horror in relation to the door (when he detached from it) and Edric having facial hair I reckon that means I should tempt fate with THIS prediction;

In King's Tide, King finally meets the Collector for a proper talk of sorts as they rescue Luz. Luz pulls him out of it as "Collector is evil!" As they try to save Eda and stop Belos, situation is growing dire

And thus, King willingly talks to the Collector again. Collector reveals the deal they made with Belos, King bringing up how Belos tends to betray everyone close to him, maybe some Gus illusions reveal this. Doesn't phase Belos at all, but it proves King's point!

So the Collector points out that Belos is the only one who can free them, but due to King being a Titan, there could be another way. King offers that because "As king of these lands, I put the welfare of my people first". And it brings pause to the Collector becayse they realize King is just as much a lonely child as they are

The magic draining begins. It's wrecking untold havoc, Belos smiling as his victory draws near and there's no chance of the others stopping him. But then the draining starts to falter, his portal beginning to fail. He starts panicking, trying to figure out what is going wrong

The CATTs get the upper hand, the apocalypse averted. Heavy damage had been done, but it's stopped and Belos only has his most zealous still on his side (Terra, Kikimora, maybe Odalia and only a handful of his guards). Thus they all flee, planning on fighting. It's a hollow victory, but at least there's still a Boiling Isles. There's a war on the horizon, but at least there's still a world left to fight for

Then someone asks where King is. They search, finding no trace of him

And in the depths between worlds in a cage, King awakens to see the Collector who remarks "It's time to play~"

the collector wants to play, doesn’t he? it’s boring to play with only one doll. and belos doesn’t see any harm in giving him both hunter and luz…what’s a game without more players?

If Darius’s hair is made from an abomination like it appears to be, is he bald underneath there?

That would be very funny

I haven’t seen many people discuss this yet but It seems we can rule out the possibility of Belos creating another Grimwalker in wake of Hunter.

The Collector says… “If we need a third player we can make another Grimwalker” in this scene here

To which Belos responds “No, Not until I’ve dealt with this one” in this scene below

I think what we ought to be speculating is what Belos truly needs Hunter for, since it’s pretty clear he wants possession over him once again.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the ingredients used to create Grimwalker’s are integral to the spell he plans to cast on the day of Unity. It’s been stated before that these ingredients are hard to come by, and Belos has likely… reused these materials in the past when re creating Golden Guards.

It would also give us some real insight on the ‘big plans’ the Titan had supposedly claimed for Hunter.

If this all proves true, however, that would mean that Hunter has been practically bred like a lamb for the slaughter— ultimately sacrificed so that the spell may casted.

Considering that Belos plans to kill everything and everyone, I wouldn’t put it above him to do such a thing…

In any case, this is all just speculation on my part. I could very well be wrong, and if there’s anything this show is great at it’s subverting expectations. That being said, feel free to share any other theories with me— I’m always open to other ideas.

I remember someone saying that while Belos says the day of unity is happening when the tide is low, king tide (like king’s tide) is actually high tide, so what’s up with that?

And so I looked it up to see if it had any other facts or symbolism, and uh

We already know what the sun and the moon are. And Belos mentioned that they’d be aligned.

But the earth… don’t they live on the boiling isles? There is no “earth” here. Why reference king tide if-

So here’s the thing. The Collector obviously wants to do something bad to Humanity, wether it be destory them or make them play with him we don’t know? But why DOES he have such an intense hatred for humanity, an outsider from the dimension? Why would his imprisonment be inside the titans skull, presumably after he’s created the Titan Trapper Cult? What kind soul could possibly have been sent to the Boiling Isles, and had stopped the Collector the first time? What was the first witch we ever saw on screen in The Owl House? Oh yeah baby! it’s
