don’t like that!

I’ve seen several of the promos you’re referencing, and they're admittedly very ominous, but I have to say that I really don’t see either of those things happening. There’s definitely evidence that backs both of them up, but it’s difficult for me to imagine either of those things happening in the show, at least not until the third season. Maybe King could have a small growth spurt, but if he was to have a big one and become a giant, where would that leave us for the rest of the series? King can’t enter the Owl House anymore, or talk to Eda or Luz without having to pick them up, or walk around on the Isles? I can’t really see the writers making King deal with that for the remaining 3 episodes. If he's going to have a big growth spurt, my guess is that it’s a season 3 thing. I think King dying is a bit more likely, but I still struggle to believe that the writers would kill off one of the main characters. Depending on how they do it, it could make for a brilliant plot point, and I don’t entirely oppose the idea, but it would certainly break some Disney norms.

All of that being said, I’ve been wrong about similar theories in the past. So I guess I’ll find out soon enough.

Big theories I'm aware of: The Collector is gonna posess Luz and Steve is someone disguised in an illusion

I 100% agree with the Steve one - Steve wasn't acting like himself at the end of Clouds on the Horizon. His facial expressions, voice, and general demeanor seemed different than the Steve from other episodes. Especially with the reveal that Belos knows about Eda's plan and is watching her, this seems very possible to me.

The Collector theory I'm less sure about, but I certainly HOPE it's true - that would be epic. Overall, I'm unsure what to make of the Collector. Part of me thinks they're evil, part of me feels sympathy for them and wants to believe they're innocent and being tricked or misled. Hopefully this episode will shed more light onto the Collector and exactly who, or what, they are.

Evidence for 2 entities in the Collector

Okay so here is a rundown of all my points for this as its likely this will be the test if its true or not

People were speculating that there were 2 Collector’s before, I started to think there could be as well, but in a different way then as has been thought

I think there could be 2 Beings within the Collector, which would tie with the Eclipse imagery ‘Sun’ and ‘Moon’

What got me thinking about this was the Collector talking to himself that King overheard, it could be the Collector Self doubting But...It sounds almost like a conversation, especially with how the Collector seems to change his voices tone. 

Also As someone pointed out, in his appearance back in Hollow Mind he mostly just talked from one Sides mouth with some bits where he has both, but in episode 20 he talks exclusively with both halves.

It is a really weird detail, and I do not think its an error sense we see bits where he gains both mouths in Hollow Mind(And its a lot of Frames to make that mistakes in his scene in episode 20)

If this theory is true, then I think it would be when one side is talking only one mouth is open, but when they are in equilibrium its both halves.

There was also the part of the theory where ‘The Huntsman’ would not just be a different name for the Collector, but the name of the more Sinister half of him

The Imagery in the TItan Trapper cult seems to focus a lot on the sun Half, with the Sun half being potrayed as bigger and the Suns star angles being Animated so its possible the Huntsman was that half

Though it could be the other way around and the Moon half was the more sinister half, wich is another possibility as the Darker half of his face specifically lights up in his more sadistic moments, like ‘See everything go all, AAAA’ or him saying Belos liked killing the Grimwalker’s  it would also confirm he really is an eldritch version of the Daycare attendant from FNAF

Will Luz's palisman be a Titan?

So for some other theories before the episode comes out and possibly 

The Collector himself also has a bone to pick with the Isles and desires to destroy life there beyond ‘Just’ fun or wanting to be free,having a geniune dislike for life there just for different reasons then Philip, if they deliberately hunted the Titans then it could be they want to wipe out life in the Isles do to them being Titan Spawn

What if we're wrong about Belos' plan?

I know the gifs and stuff say otherwise, but what if everything is not as black and white as it seems? I mean, we have been following a 14-year-old girl that delves so hard into the fantasy world that she legit thought she was going to have "the author of the journals" moment when she thought the author of the Azura books was in the BI. Heck, she even thought she had to fight Belos alone, even though there's a whole team out there helping. Not to mention her, even now, constantly referencing Azura.

And she completely misremebered Collector:

Keep in mind, we have been stuck in the perspective of those who, well, are not Belos. I know the whole "they're still breathing" line is there. However, we only got Luz's conclusions from Hollow Mind for now, but he never denied nor agreed with what she was saying. He never said he will kill all witch kind. Draining of magic may just be that, his idea of humanizing. No wild magic aka no magic at all.

Now is that better? No. You're getting rid of their ability to choose and he, basically, views that as a "better option" rather than letting them be. Still hecking a lot better than genocide. Also, Belos has been incredibly vague this whole time. Who knows what his actual plan is.

I'm not saying this forgives him nor excuses anything else he has done. He's still terrible. However, it makes me wonder. How much do we truly know Belos that didn't come from another person's perspective?

It's just a thought. Again, he's not a good guy, at all, but I doubt he's as clear cut as a bad guy as it is. I mean

Gotta be reason why these two are still here if he wanted them dead (assuming the draining spell is done)

everybody is talking about how the last time we see eda, she doesn't have a sigil on her wrist and how it's possible raine stepped in because they felt guilty or something.

but i haven't seen anyone mention that in that same scene, neither raine nor eda say anything. eda growls, but that's it.

i think that eda in that clip, isn't actually eda. i think eda is already disguised as raine, and either raine or lilith is pretending to be eda.

First the trash slug from season 1, then magic leaking through the human realm in Yesterday's Lie (though I think that was Eda) AND the Good Witch Azura sham from Tibbles. Where is all that stuff coming from????

So if king is the son of the boiling isles and he was pretty young when Eda found him that could only mean that he was in his egg for hundreds of years. Soooooo if he could be in an egg that long do you think there could actually be more titans out there that haven’t hatched yet?????

When the Collector mentioned a third player for their “game”, I remembered that art Dana made of the Collector and the Collector Luz theory. But if Luz is going to be possessed by the Collector and not in control, then there’s still two players, it’s just that one has a body now 🤔

Evolution

Ya know Hunter probably can't do illusion magic cause his magic is coming from a galdorstone and that like the one type of magic that the shiny magic rock can't help with

Last minute (very possibly wrong) consideration

Since Hunter is "made of" materials that the main characters have somehow seen/been in contact with, it is somewhat comforting knowing that in the worst case scenario, if something were to happen to him, they would have the materials to theoretically/possibly "repair" him or even bring him back.

Last minute thought/theory before King’s Tide airs tonight:

I saw this in a fic recently but isn’t Hunter the current coven head for the emperor’s coven?? Like the emperor’s coven still needs to have their magic taken in the draining spell and if the draining spell is being cast through the covens heads then is Hunter supposed to be there too? Darius said they all had replacements so did he just get replaced? Like we all know Hunter will have a bad time if he goes to the head but will it be like,,,, a worse time then we originally thought?

The Titan Corpses age and Witch species history theory

I’ve always thought on just how old the boiling isles (titan corpse) and where the witch species on it evolved from, and I’ve come up with something I think sounds good. TLDR at bottom

The titan corpse has been there for a very long time allowing for hundreds of species to grow and evolve there. but its suspicious on why witches are so similar to the human species so thus this be my theory on where the witch species could've come from and how old the titan corpse could be!

So my idea on where the witch species came from is that tens of thousands of years ago when the titan died and it’s body started Decomposing it’s blood started mixing with the boiling sea and caused huge Titan Blood Portals, time pools, rifts and dilation's In time and during that time it’s possible some very early Homo Sapiens (common ancestor to humans) or entire generations of them fell through these time pools and started living it whats now called the demon realm, that would explain why witch’s look and have such a similar Biology to humans cause they are a species that came to the boiling isles and started living on the land and evolving, from them probably finding glyph magic at some point to evolving the bile sac to perform magic naturally!

Look at how similar a witches heart is to a humans!

it also explains on the theory that Wittlebro is an ancestor the the claw-throne family since the biology of witches and a human are so similar still that they could have had kids, and 350+ years should maybe be enough time for human genes dissipate through every generation

And through all that it could put the titan corpse at least around 200000 years old since it could’ve died. since the oldest recorded date of the common ancestor Homo Sapiens so just a bit over 200000 years to allow for them to find the time pools!

This guy does look like hes been here for a good 200000 years, not to bad for his age,  If this titan really is kings dad just how long was king in that egg for???

TLDR: Homo Sapiens are ancestors to witches from falling through titan blood portals long ago and they started living on the island, which caused them to evolve and develop bile sacs, and through that i can make an estimation that the titan died around 200000 years ago!

If you have any other ideas please do share since these are just my fragmented thoughts

The fact that Odalia figured out the day of unity through oracle magic, and still doesn't think she's gonna die, makes me wonder whether or not it really is just about killing everyone.

Like, that vision of the titan in the human realm felt too deliberate, especially with it being called the day of unity. I feel like there has to be more to this than simple genocide. If all that stuff was simply a lie, he could've just called it the day of "glory" or something, and shown them some generic vision of themselves receiving a reward. Having all these hints towards unifying with the human realm would be a very oddly specific lie, especially from the man who thought up "the titan has great plans for you Hunter".

Then there's also that line from Warden Wrath about how this "new world" might not be inviting to magical beings. So not only did Belos promise an oddly specific outcome, but now we have characters speculating on how it could lead to negative consequences.

Based on the Collector's poem, it seems like the spell will definitely kill some people, but maybe not everyone, maybe just the coven heads? That would explain why he's kept that part fully secret, he can't risk them finding out. (I guess it's a good thing that he's found replacements for Raine, Darius and Eberwolf, now they won't have to die).

Also, Philip's a glory hound, there's no way he wouldn't want to show off the witches he's found, to be praised as the greatest witch hunter of all time.
