Attempting to draw razer from young justice, i know i still have urie to draw too but i feel like working on this at the moment.

(1/3?) After my pixie cut i had to doodle some character's reactions to it so enjoy! :]
This was my final for drawing II, which I scanned in to get those vibrant colors! :) The paper is 18”x24” so about three times the size of my little scanner. The project was addressing our take on a utopia and dystopia. Most of the piece is watercolor ink and colored pencil but I did use charcoal and a white charcoal pencil for the arches.

🖤~Probably going to draw more CATS characters because that seems to be where my inspiration is coming from now.

Even though this doodle isn’t shaded or colored, Donahue is a black-colored horse as his species name suggests! I think this is the first time I’ve ever drawn a horse that definitely looks like a horse! I wanted Donahue (& all Dubh Capalls) to look distinct from Dullatrolls’ Shadow Mounts, so I used a bunch of references to get his head shape right! Shadow Mounts aren’t actually the creatures they appear to be, as one like Ciara would essentially be a faux horse. Because of that, they don’t perfectly look like the animals they’re trying to present as & often appear more “simplified;” Ciara for example has a different head shape, nose, lips, has no whiskers, as well as her obvious extra eyes & large dog-like mouth! He has faintly appearing rectangular pupils that appear as a very light grey in the pencil drawing. He is softly smiling with his mouth closed as he looks forward from where he is positioned. Was having all sorts of difficulty today: be it color mixing/matching, mixing enough paint, and super messed up paper as it had been erased too many times when I worked on this last (at least 2 years at this point lol)
