Who inspires you for Ruby, Jess, Sasha, Milo, and Hugo’s personalities?

OH! That makes scenes now!

Ruby is inspired by my mom, and other single moms out there. After Dictatious “died” Ruby sacrificed her pain and grief to be strong for her kids. Sure she had her weak points but she made sure her kids never saw her weak. She loves her kids dearly. And will do whatever it takes to make them happy. Her personality is loving and caring when she’s in momma mode. She will do anything for her kids. And I see that in my mom. My mom raised me, a disabled 5-year-old alone after my parents got divorced. And I never seen her at her weakness point. But I have a feeling she was struggling with her divorce with my dad and us moving into my grandparents ranch to look for a new job, finding a school with a special education, etc.

Sasha is not based off any personality from a specific character or real life person. The closes thing I can see her like is Miss Honey from Matilda, since she is a kind soul but will do anything for her students and Matilda. She is also based off the aesthetic of women knights and worriers with a mix of cottagecore.

Milo is based off a mix of Dictatious, a old OC Miguel, and Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel. Milo is a big book worm and loves to read and write. Very smart, but very sarcastic and a huge flirt.

Hugo is based off another old OC, Miguel’s twin sister Mila. Both Hugo and Mila are rough around the edges and like to swear a lot. But when it comes to what they believe in and their family and other loved ones they can be loyal and loving.

Jess is based off an anime trope call a Yandere. She was going to be only kind hearted and sweet, but then I got a idea that Bular influence her to become a Gumm-Gumm and well, the rest was history.

Dumb question, but does the fact that Strickler (and other changelings) are subject to prejudice from other trolls and treated as disposable slaves by gumm gumms make them less impressive and threatening as villains?

Strickler when you first see him is a scary-looking troll with sharp tusks, slit pupil eyes and horns, he looks pretty imposing and fearsome, but he's also really terrified of Bular and Gunmar, and pretty cowardly to boot.

Faith

Krel frowned, confused at the program currently airing on television. Five terrestrial minutes in and he was as lost as a ship in space with a broken navigation.

“I do not understand this,” he said to Toby, who was munching on something at the table. “I understand what faith is, but how can you have faith in something that has never been seen or proved with facts?”

Toby gave a shrug, as lost at giving a satisfying explanation as Krel felt over the whole thing. “It's something that comes from the heart, I guess,” he replied. “Just because it's not where you expect it to be, it doesn't mean it's not there.”

Light

With his recent transformation into a half-troll, Jim realized that it was the small things that he truly missed. Waking up to go to school, going to a walk in the park under the sunlight, sitting at the bar drinking something hot during a cold day. Basically, things that were taken for granted until they were taken away.

And even if he found Vendel's box that contained the stone that could grant immunity to sunlight, there was still the fact that he wasn't a human anymore. True, Arcadia Oaks had accepted that Trolls existed and welcomed the good ones, but even then Jim felt that it would still not be the same.

“Jim,” a small hand found its way on his shoulder and squeezed enough for him to feel the pressure through his stone skin. A moment later and Claire was sitting next to him, her head leaning against his arm. “We'll go through this together. You're not alone.”

Angor: Hi, I'd like a hot mess, with no hot, and extra mess

Dictatious: Here I am motherfucker

Okay, another snippet from the Trollhunter!Claire AU - featuring girl talk about our favourite Jim flavoured cinnamon role with Claire and Co. 

“I’m gonna grow old waiting for you two idiots to get over yourself, y’know that?“ Mary said, throwing her head back with a long and unnecessarily dramatic sigh.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,“ Claire said awkwardly, playing around with her phone. Darci scoffed from her seat beside Claire, grinning widely.

“Girl, please,“ she started. “Mary knows what she’s talking about, I know what she’s talking about - you definitely know what she’s talking about. So let’s cut the bull, yeah?“

Claire opted not to say anything, trying to ignore the flush of heat she felt creeping up her neck. 

“I mean, seriously,“ Mary began to wave her hands around, trying to express to the world what an idiot her friend was being. “Look at him! He would literally throw himself in front of a train for you, or throw hands with anyone who even looks at you wrong if you wanted him to. He cooks Claire! What more could you want?“ Mary was gesturing around wildly now, while her Claire looked in, somewhat concerned about her friend’s passion when it came to her love life.

“Not to mention sunshine boy isn’t exactly lacking in the looks department, C-Bomb,” Darci added helpfully.

That he is not, Claire thought to herself, though she wouldn’t condemn herself by saying it out loud. 

Constructive criticism is always appreciated, especially for stuff like dialogue which I always think that I have a hard time of making it feel natural.
