It only took seconds for someone to pull me back, and I could hear the driver's rapid attempt to keep me at bay. I, however, experienced everything as if it were in slow motion. Thoughtless, I was dialing Hara's number, overhearing the driver's warning.  Cloude: [in shock] Fuck’s sake, that was close.  Voice: I tried to warn you.

With most of the kids out of the house, Anna’s been able to have more freedom on the weekends. She’s been enjoying wandering around the neighborhood.
