it is Imperative to know that in my au jonathan has never been caught by batman or unmasked as the scarecrow, and only a few select people like ed or jervis know who he is. this is for three reasons:

blatant favoritism <3

scarecrow has the potential to be a much more creepy and threatening villain as a faceless cryptid

the sheer and utter comedy of jon working two jobs as a university professor and a doctor at arkham while also juggling his outings as scarecrow

Daryl’s hands landed on your hips and he’d snuck in so quietly you hadn’t heard him at all and you jumped at the sudden contact before laughing. “You scared me,” you said, turning to catch a glimpse of him over your shoulder. “Sorry,” he said. He buried his face into the crook of your neck and breathing in your smell deeply. You leaned your body back against his and his fingers gave your hips a light squeeze. “Ya got a shift today?” he asked, hoping the answer was no. “Not today,” you said with a smile. “Good. I can have ya all to myself then,” he said.  You laughed jovially. “Oh, yeah? And what is it that you’re going to do with me exactly?” You turned in his arms and he draped them lazily around your lower back. You pressed your hips into him and smiled at the heated look he was giving you. He leaned in and kissed your neck, eliciting a sigh from you. “Whatever I want,” he drawled. “Whatever you want... Little bit of both.” He placed another kiss near your collarbone and you bit your bottom lip. “When can we get started?” you breathed, heat already flaring in your chest and spilling outward along with electric tingles. HIs answer was simply to scoop you up in his strong arms and carry you toward bed... Prompt: “What is it that you’re going to do with me exactly?”
