It's #WaterWednesday and there are some great parks that are near (or in!) water. ❓ ❓ ❓ What do you mean "in water"? Well, places like Virgin Islands Coral Reef National Monument or like the south Florida park pictured above - Dry Tortugas National Park. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Comprised of seven small islands (keys), it lies almost 70 miles from Key West - out in the open ocean. 📷 📷 📷 I highly recommend camping out for three nights. It was a funny thing, those of us camping out became a de facto community - you learn quickly that when the boat comes in with the day tourists, it's the perfect time to settle in and relax at your campsite. When they leave, a few hours before sunset, the thirty or so campers are the only ones left to explore (of course, there are park rangers, and the occasional construction crew). And you can get unique photos like this one - a sunrise shot of the palm tree shadows along the side of Fort Jefferson. 📍: Dry Tortugas National Park, FL 📅 : Jan 2017 #IBrakeForBrownSigns #nationalparkgeek #RecreateResponsibly ..................................................
