i’m actually so unhealthily attached to the concept of james having an old soul it’s not even funny. i think (?) it’s been talked about in the fandom but i think so much of his personality was shaped by having older parents, and growing up as a somewhat lonely, isolated kid and the swears thing + the old timey pet names is an example of that. i’m rly glad u like it too 💜
