*leans into mic* Open Your Heart is the theme of Super Sonic while Live & Learn is the theme of Super Shadow, but both songs are sung from Sonic's perspective. The "you" being addressed in Live & Learn is Shadow.
This is why in Shadow 05 his Super Shadow theme starts off as I Am... All of Me but becomes Live & Learn the moment he actually goes super.
I consider Live & Learn to be a character song shared between Sonic and Shadow, about their relationship and even moreso about Shadow's self-actualization.
Love is not something you can see but, something you feel when the right actions are being done. Anyone can see someone do something sweet, lovable and nice but what they can't see is the connection and closeness that comes with that action when the love is really there.
