Fuck it-

Hey! It was so great having you on the team this summer! It was a total joy working with you, I mean duh, obviously, you were great with the kids and contributed so much.

But I mean, more than that, more than just the work we did, I really loved getting to know you. Getting to spend the time together when we weren’t working. Learning about your life outside of camp, sharing stories around the fire and making too many s’mores and you making me laugh so hard beer almost came out of my nose. 

Picking my favourite time with you is hard, the night we snuck into the kitchen after hours and stole a late night snack and I finally worked up the nerve to kiss you comes to mind though. Or maybe the night we went for a swim and Brad The Chad nearly caught us. 

Oh! Do you remember that afternoon we managed to get away for that kayak ride and that sudden rainstorm hit? I felt so bad that it happened, thought I totally ruined our date afternoon but then I saw your smile and you told me to quote you, “Lighten up Wescott.” and used your ore to splash me so hard the boat nearly tipped and fuck. I just laughed and knew you were right, why let a little rain ruin the time we have together? 

The point I am trying to make, the point of this letter, is that I really fucking loved having you at Camp Clear Vista this summer. You are really someone special and I hope I made an impact on you too, I am really hoping that you don’t forget about me. 

I mean if you are okay with it, I would still love to exchange letters over the year until you come back to camp next summer which, I really hope you are coming back next summer. It wouldn’t be the same without you.

okay but i'm getting emotional over how anthony literally built beth getting a head start on leveling up into the mechanics of the game

like, it's such an elegant solution to help beth as a player....she'll get more time with her skills and abilities and be able to try more things out and become familiar with her options

i also just listened to inside the daddy master's studio and both will and anthony are so fucking insightful and nail so many aspects of how and why they play, so knowing that anthony was designing this around the time of having that conversation about how he dms
